About All Darn Good Recipes
This darn good recipes site has many categories in a grid layout to help you narrow down your search. There is also a simple search icon at the top. Like our easy recipes, we want you to find them easily as well.
We use informational links to Wikipedia and other expert sites as an added resource. We have an extensive background in the Foods Industry; read more about us. And, we have food related topics of interest in our various articles pages.
About Our Recipes
Based on our extensive foods background in both commercial and generational experience, our recipes have been fully tested and have the most minimized steps.
The production of these recipes is to save time in many ways. That’s to try to use commonly found ingredients and to put the steps in an order to have a total package of lowest known time.
We don’t cover how to make ketchup and other things from scratch. Our lives are too busy and we have modernized our recipes to be conscious of that. But, we do make our own marinade for steaks, which you will be quite surprised when you make it.
And, while referencing the steps, extra information is provided to make it easy. You’ll notice that it’s extra clear when you need to cover a pot and what oven shelf level is needed. Our instructions are all-inclusive so you won’t be wondering about any aspect. They’re also written in a manner to show consideration for cooks who are relatively newer.
About Our Articles and Topics
With our experience in the commercial food and beverages industry, we are always looking for ways to save time, shorten the learning curve, and to save money. When we write articles about food equipment, tools, products, or services, it’s designed to reflect our respect for the amount of work it takes to produce a good recipe outcome. So, if we feel it can reduce the workload, we’re all for it. However, we have to balance it with normal household budgeting as well. We’re not going to recommend a $2,000 meat slicer, for example, even though it might save some time.
