Homemade Tartar Sauce

This homemade, easy and hearty tartar sauce is unique and is a fantastic addition to any fish recipe.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup cabbage coarsely chopped and is an optional healthy filler ingredient
  • tbsp onion, diced or ¼ tsp onion powder (alternate to 1 tbsp onions)
  • 2 tbsp dill pickles, diced or ½ tsp dill or lemon juice (alternate to 2 tbsp pickles)
  • 3 tbsp sweet pickle relish or diced sweet pickles/gherkins
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sour cream

Instructions
 

  • Coarsely chop cabbage and place into bowl.

  • Prepare other ingredients and add into bowl. Mix by hand well.
