Fresh Strawberry Daiquiris

This is among the freshest drinks ever concocted. It's experience is smooth and such a simple pleasure to enjoy. It uses fresh or frozen strawberries and is created quickly.

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (or frozen)
  • ½ cup simple syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup white or light rum (we prefer Bacardi Superior Rum)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 cups water


  • After you have washed and sliced strawberries (or just use frozen), put them in the blender along with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Blend until smooth. Some blenders have a frozen, smoothie, or extract setting which works fine. Garnish with fresh strawberries, if so desired. Enjoy!

About Frozen Strawberry Daiquiris

If you want a quicker version, go ahead and use the frozen 1 pound bag of whole strawberries in place of fresh strawberries. At times, those are actually cheaper than fresh strawberries and the flavor is still great. It saves time as you don’t have to cut the ends of each strawberry. It’s also safer in case you’re making a 2nd batch, as you won’t need to handle a knife after having consumed the first batch.

Also, we’ve tested the Wal-Mart Great Value brand of frozen whole strawberries and they were excellent.

  • 16 oz. cream cheese bricks softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract or double amt vanilla flavoring
  • 2 large eggs
  • tbsp. lime juice
  • 6 oz. ready made graham cracker crumb crust


  • Heat oven to 325°F.
  • Using a mixer, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lime juice until nicely blended. Add eggs and beat until just blended.

  • Pour into 6 oz. pie crust.
  • Transfer into preheated 325°F oven and bake 35-40 minutes or until the center is just about set.
