This is a South Carolina and Southern vinegar-based recipe. It was made for including those that normally don't like vinegar BBQ sauces, as it's sweetened. It serves extremely well on anything requiring a vinegar-base BBQ sauce such as pulled pork, ribs, and chicken.

Ingredients
1½cupsapple cider vinegar
2Tablespoonsketchup
2½Tablespoonsbrown sugar
2Tablespoonshoney
¾teaspoonground black pepper
½teaspoonsalt
⅛teaspooncayenne red peppercan increase up to double this amount
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a small sauce pan and heat on high for 2-4 minutes while stirring. When it just starts to boil, remove from heat.
Can use immediately or let cool a bit and then store in fridge. Can store for about 4-8 weeks usually. Mix well before using each time.
