Start to preheat oven to BROIL at
500
°F
. Set a shelf to the middle.
Cook bread slices in toaster on one of the lower settings. Toast them about 1 minute for light to medium doneness.

Lay out all lightly toasted slices on an ungreased baking sheet.
Add 4 very thin butter slices (about ½ Tbsp) to each toast slice.
2 Tablespoon butter
Sprinkle about 1 Tbsp sugar across each toast slice.

Sprinkle about ¾ tsp of cinnamon across each toast slice.

Add baking sheet of prepped slices to middle shelf in broiling

Bake until dark brown but not excessively burned, usually between 1-3 minutes. Remove from oven and remove toast from baking sheet.
