2Tablespoonsbutter
4stalkscelerydiced
1mediumoniondiced
2teaspoonsminced garlicor ½ amount garlic powder
½teaspoonsground black pepper
3Tablespoonall-purpose flour
2cupsmilk2% or whole
2cupshalf and half
¾teaspoonchicken bouillon granules
Instructions
Dice celery & onion.
4 stalks celery, 1 medium onion
Melt butter in medium pot on stovetop. Add diced celery, onions, pepper, garlic. Cook on medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes. While cooking, stir every 1-2 minutes, scraping the inside pot bottom.
2 Tablespoons butter, 4 stalks celery, 1 medium onion, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, ½ teaspoons ground black pepper, ¾ teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
Add flour and mix in well to coat everything. Immediately add in some of the cold milk (about ½ to 1 cup. Stir constantly until fully thickened and bubbling. Then, pour in remaining milk & half and half. Stir a few times each minute until boiling again.
