How To Make A Smoothie with Banana and Orange
It’s very easy and fast to make a smoothie with banana and orange recipe. So, just cutup the ingredients and toss them into a blender for about 10-20 seconds. The Ninja Bullet is a good equipment for this. Also, it works really great if you use the “Extract” setting. Finally, if you’re not using frozen fruit, you can reduce the water a little bit and toss in some ice cubes to make it cold.
Ingredients for the Smoothie with Banana and Orange Recipe
This smoothie with banana and orange recipe uses spinach leaves, banana, orange, and water.
- So, start by tossing spinach leaves into the blender.
- After that, if you decide you want the option of added energy, add in some kale leaves too.
- Then, peel the banana(s) and include in the blender.
- Then, peel the oranges and toss them in. But, ensure they’re seedless or you need to remove the seeds. I use the smaller halo or cutie oranges, or the mandarins. That’s because they peel real easy and have no seeds.
- Finally, finish by blending (covered with its lid) on high speed for about 10 to 20 seconds. Or, go longer for your desired consistency. It you have an “extract” setting, that’s the one to use.
How To Plan Ahead For A FASTER Banana and Orange Smoothie
You can plan smoothies ahead by peeling the bananas in advance, halving them, and placing in a large food storage bag for the freezer. They’ll slowly start to darken a little bit but they’re still great for an entire month easily.
Other fruits can be frozen as well as the spinach leaves but not apples. Freezing some ingredients is the best way to reduce visits to the store and they’re very cold when run through the blender.
