How To Make Recipe for Chicken Salad Submarine Sandwich
- To start, you’ll need to slit a sub roll in half but do this along the long side. Pull out any extra bread from each half to make a holding place for adding contents.
- Then, you’ll spread mayo on the bread cavities on both halves.
- After that, make the chicken salad and add to the open sub roll.
- Then, top the meat side with Italian dressing and the other sub roll side with a provolone cheese slice (cut in half).
- Finally, close it up and cut the sandwich in half, cross-ways. Serve with chips and a pickle spear.
Step 1. Slit open a sub roll lengthwise. Then, remove excess bread down the centers of each half. This makes a bread cavity ready to receive bulky chicken salad.
Step 2. Spread mayo on both sub roll halves.
Step 3. Make chicken salad and add to one side of sub roll.
Step 4. Top with Italian dressing on one side and Provolone cheese on other side.
Step 5. Close up chicken salad sub and cut in half. Serve with chips and pickle spear.
